Hey Matt,

Thanks for your insight into the quality of applicant submissions you have been recieving. You have given me alot of fuel to re-stratgise my approach to cutting through in the current market. We all need to think of ourselves as a brand that are relevant and engaging to our audience.

I've been freelancing and contracting in the live communications space for the last five years as producer, and have had the opportunity to work across some great project and brands.

I thought my current CV / folio was reasonably impressive, but in this highly competitive market it needs to be refocused to gain maximum cut through.

Cheers, Paul

Matt Jones

Thanks Paul.

Glab to be of help.

I think the big challenge for people submitting creative applications is differentiating between attention-grabbing (but ultimately pointless) gimmicks...and genuinely-clever demonstration of your skills and ability to do the job you're applying for.
